The second get-together of Christ Church’s Cornerstone Community will be on Saturday, August 9, starting at 6:00 p.m. at 451 Crestmont Drive in the Oakland hills. Cornerstone is open to those in the Christ Church body who are 40+, as well as anyone else who enjoys their company. The group seeks to:1) provide friendship and support for those in this demographic; and 2) use our talents, gifts and experience to support Christ Church and her mission in the wider community. Our first gathering in June was a smashing success, and we encourage and welcome any who are interested to join us in August. We will share a potluck meal in a backyard setting with a spectacular view of Oakland, the Bay, San Francisco and the sunset, while enjoying a casual, relaxed time of friendship.
